Dear friends and colleagues ,
“It’s truly an honor to be elected by my peers as the Chairperson of the 18th Annual Meeting of the Middle East Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery (MEAOHNS) meeting, one of the region’s largest gatherings in the field of otolaryngology. Throughout history, the medical field including otolaryngology pioneered in the Middle East and since then world renowned ORL physicians originate from this region”.
I intend to continue the mission of the academy; extending and sharing our experience in the field of ORL among our fellow colleagues in the Middle East and globally, where our only true goal is exchanging knowledge with each other and continue to educate, train, and support our younger colleagues, whom will soon be handed the torch from their seniors.
I hope to emphasize the importance of serving our community to improve patient care across the Middle East and around the world.
I have devoted my career to Otolaryngology, over the past 20 years I have dedicated myself to the pursuit of excellence in this diverse field.
As MEAOHNS Chairperson, I intend to closely collaborate with all core subspecialties in ORL, to ensure a well-organized and global coverage. I will also continue the development of MEAOHNS outstanding scientific program and research opportunity and have diverse sessions focusing on the young physicians in ORL.
As the first female chairperson of the academy, I am proud to announce the inauguration of the Women in Otolaryngology Middle East (WIOME) chapter, where all female ORL doctors in the middle east region will have a platform to share their experiences, assist the career development of women, provide ample opportunities for networking and mentoring, and to celebrate ORL female pioneers in the middle east region.
I welcome you to join our upcoming meeting, which I assure you will enjoy the diverse scientific program and the social interaction with your colleagues.
