Welcome Message

Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

I am delighted to welcome you to the 20th Annual Meeting of the Middle East Academy of Otolaryngology (11-13 April, 2025), at the Intercontinental Dubai Festival city, UAE.

We are proud to have over 100 speakers regionally and internationally joining us to share their expertise and knowledge with the audience. The scientific program at this year’s congress will include all branches within our growing specialty: Otology and Neurotology, Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery, Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Sleep Surgery, Pediatric Otolaryngology, Facial Plastic Surgery as well as Audio-Vestibular Medicine.

Our newly introduced ‘How I do it’ lectures will give the attendees the opportunity to listen and learn firsthand from renowned experts in the field. We will be hosting additional workshops for our participants to have ample opportunity to learn in depth within different subspecialties. We are proud to continue our resident and young otolaryngologist competition, which will grant sponsorship to the top 30 submissions. Additionally, I encourage any practicing otolaryngologist with expertise in their field and an interest to present, to apply through our lecture proposal category.

A recent addition to the academy is Women in Otolaryngology Middle East. A platform we are honored to share inspiring and empowering a future generation of female surgeons, and honoring those who led and achieved.

The congress will provide networking opportunities throughout the day, in addition to the coveted spots at the annual Gala Dinner, which was hosted at the Museum of the Future at our 19th Annual meeting. There will be time to explore and discover the many wonders of the city of Dubai during your stay.

I look forward to meeting you at our 20th Annual Meeting of the Middle East Academy of Otolaryngology in the ever-evolving city of Dubai. I invite you to participate and join in all this meeting has to offer.
